CrossPoint is a thirteen year old church plant that's striving to live in such a way as to reflect that we are, Authentic, Biblical and Contagious with our faith... but what does that mean? In short, that we endeavor to be real, with no pretense whatsoever, inwardly or outwardly; that we see the scripture as having ultimate authority in the things we believe and the way we live; and that we desire to be intentional about sharing our faith in Christ, both in our world and around the world. We have 4 basic core values that drive the things we do and the ways we do them. They are; 1) Biblical Teaching - unfolding the ever true and ever relevant Word of God in practical and applicable ways 2) Authentic Worship - coming before God corporately and transparently to worship Him with all that we are and all that we have 3) Life-changing Community Groups - where real body life, community and Bible study takes place 4) Expanding God's kingdom -through evangelism, missions, ministry and church planting If you want to understand more about our ministry philosophy, read on . . . 

Ephesians 4:11-16 (NAS) “And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves, and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him, who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body being fitted and held together by that which every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.” 

We are excited about the opportunity to take God at His word and see Him at work among us. Ephesians 4:11-16 provides us a biblical blueprint that virtually promises spiritual and kingdom growth if we will simply organize our church around its truths. We cannot do it alone. It takes a team of committed people. The Pastors’ task is to help people find their unique gifts and then equip them for their specific ministry. . . . at CrossPoint every member is a minister. An intentional Kingdom mindset permeates our church. It causes us to see ourselves, our strengths and weaknesses, honestly and focus or “target” our ministry efforts accordingly. It allows us to celebrate and even participate in what other churches and para-church ministries are accomplishing that we may never effectively do or even attempt. It allows us to understand our niche, so to speak, and to pursue excellence within that which God has gifted, equipped and purposed for us to do. Function over form is also a core principle as it pertains to our ministry philosophy. That means that methodology will always be open for discussion and evaluation. If there’s a better or more effective way to accomplish something, we’ll seek to find it and though the method will be open for negotiation, the message never will. We are seeking to be a place that challenges every attender to embrace a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, establishes each member toward maturity, encourages every believer toward ministry, that intentionally begins new ministries, sends out missionaries, trains new pastors, births new churches and pushes our faith into total dependence on God in the process. We endeavor to be a church that seeks to walk that delicate balance, as Jesus did perfectly, between an uncompromising truth and an unending grace.
